Aftermarket Alfresco ALX2 Briquette Trays evenly distribute the heat across the cooking surface. Ceramic Briquettes sold separately. Each tray takes 24 Briquettes.

 

LOCK BARS AND SCREWS WILL NOT WORK ON THIS BRIQUETTE TRAY

If you have a 2012 or newer LX2 grill, These trays do not have the locking bars on them. It will not affect grill performance and therefore can be an aftermarket substitute.  The locking bars were not used in the 2011 and older models which this part was originally made for.
