These DCS ceramic rods are a unique feature to their grills. The tubes are ceramic with a hollow center which allows the burner to heat hot air that circulates through the center tube. The hollow center also allows them to not only heat up quicker but also cool down faster.
Note : Each radiant tray holds 18 ceramic rods.
